Why are they so much better?

This new, advanced solar thermal collector integrates a British designed, all copper, high efficiency heat exchanger. This is combined with super heat-pipes for faster hot water and centrally located heat-pipes for faster installation.

Unlike any other copper heat exchanger used in the assembly of evacuated tube heat pipe collectors, we have engineered the 35mm high grade copper tube so that 100% of the heat generated through the condenser of the heat pipe is released within the water volume inside the copper tube. Simply more efficient.

No auto air vent is required as the venting of the collector is completed when the pump comes on, sending the air and water into the thermal store to vent. No filling loops or pressure kits are required. Simple and safe.

It is also possible to further enhance the cost benefits and the positive environmental impact of this system by converting it to 100% solar power. We can integrate a solar powered digital controller and 12 volt pump with AC back up at night.

Solar Controller

The new TDC series of solar thermal controller is simple and easy to use. Differnet types of controller are availble based upon application and desired functions. The TDC3 is currently our most popular Controller. It is a high-end controller which allows great flexibility in setup and control of solar systems. The TDC3 Controller has a high definition screen allowing moving graphics, and all three temperature readings to be displayed simultaneously. It is able to address three temperature sensor inputs and has two relay outputs, including one 'electronic' relay which can provide variable speed control for pumps. The features include:

Comparison of running costs between traditional water heating boilers and renewable energy

We offer two different types of award winning air source heat pump for domestic hot water heating. Reliable, safe and conforming to European standards these systems are manufactured in Portugal to exacting standards and exceptional quality combining high performance with superb value for money. An excellent alternative to solar thermal panels, with none of the seasonality issues affecting solar thermal.

Both are extremely efficient providing water heated to between 55C and 60C all year round, 24 hours per day, even on rainy days in the winter. The most economical solution on the market for providing hot tap water. With up to 80% of your hot water provided free, over 20 years product life expectancy and the value added to a property these systems ask the question, 'What are you waiting for?'

sunpack heat pumps

Providing up to 80% of your hot water free! A simple principle and an efficient way of using energy from the sun, the wind and the rain. The SunPack Heat Pump works on a thermodynamic principle and is based on the use of an evaporator panel. This panel captures the free energy which exists in direct and diffuse solar radiation, the rain and the wind. The energy is then transferred to a heat exchanger in the storage tank, heating the water inside at a cost approximately a fifth that of conventional systems.

airpack heat pumps

Providing up to 70% of your hot water free!

A simple principle and an efficient way of using the energy present in the air.

The AirPack system works on a thermodynamic principle by which the external panel is replaced by an evaporator incorporated into the equipment.

The evaporator captures the calorific energy present in the air via a process which also produces its dehumidification and then transfers it to the heat exchanger in the tank. In this way, water can be heated at a cost approximately a quarter that of conventional systems.

Consumption

With a consumption of only 455W, the system can provide water at between 55ºC and 60ºC, all year round, 24 hours a day, even during the winter.

Given that most of the energy is harnessed from Nature, up to 70% of all the hot water obtained is free, which will significantly reduce your energy bill.
